I am Giorgi Wazowski, a Georgian artist working across film photography, design, sculpture, and installation. My practice examines LGBTQ+ experience and its relationship to contemporary art, translating emotional and psychological landscapes into a distinct visual language.
Shaped by my upbringing in post-Soviet, Orthodox Christian Georgia, my work reflects on impermanence through ceramics, metal, textiles, and experimental image-making, I explore contrasts - fragility and strength, intimacy and distance, while reimagining traditional craft within a contemporary context.
